  • HELP : Diff Cover Alternative from E30 ?

    Hello Guys,

I need your help on a small matter since you are all MC gurus :)

Today I hit the bottom of the car and my diff cover (the alu piece with fins) broke of the mount and I need to order a new one.
Is there any problem to fitting an E30 diff cover until my z3m cover comes along ? Is there any problem doing so ?

    Thanks,

    Can.

No problem at all........I broke my MC heat sinked diff cover and put a stock E30 one on till I got a replacement......It's still on over a year later.

Allegedly the heat sink is only there due to diff overheating problems during prototype testing at certain corners at the Nurburgring.

Thanks a lot fok, that is a relief. I will order the M finned piece anyway but It is great to know that I can still use her until part arrives.
