  • Accelerator pedal removal/replacement

I think I have read that its a real pain to remove the accelerator pedal but would like to know if anyone has replaced theirs before I attempt it?

        Are you leaving it off?

Yes they just slot into the floor? The pedal once off is literally just a piece of plastic with a flimsy flap on it that locates in the floor. Doesn't look like it would last 5minutes but they obviously do!

Just to add, I have two throttle pedals on mine (stacked) - adds 50bhp

I have removed it completely to stop me adding anymore mileage. Replacing is easy enough to do but having read online how much of a difficult job it was I think these comments may be for LHD cars ?.

The round stopper shown in the picture isn't shown on any parts listings so will add this to the part number required list.

That's strange as it's part of the adjustable bump stop, wonder if it turns up with something else?

I think the part number is as per the LHD part, 35411159345
