  • Flat Battery issue...

Well after charging my battery I put it on and tried starting it, all i get is the ignition lights flickering and a chattering sound. I popped my Snap On jump pack on and it starts straight away.
After travelling 220 miles in it last night I woke first thing and the same symptoms occur?? Battery pack on starts straight up!
I would have thought the 220 miles would have charged it.

    Any ideas guys???

I left my car in Daventry yesterday when I picked the Europa up.
When it's back it will be treated to a new battery.

Before chucking it I'd advise trying a CTEK charger on it, in recondition mode. I've saved a number of what I thought were knackered batteries with the CTEK - worth every penny.

Thanks Guido, the cars in Daventry at the mo but when I pick it up I'm going to try all the electrical terminals first, I've just been googling it and some say the pos battery terminal under the bonnet sometimes works loose and needs tightening.
Failing that I'll purchase the CTEK charger.

There's no way the Coupe will ever go, It's the best car I've ever had and I've had everything, believe me.
These must have been absolutely incredible when they first came out back then, 911's couldn't live with them as well as a lot of supercars.
A 964 and new M4 got a bloody shock. I think the M4 let me get a bit of a start though, thought he could reel me in but he was still 300 yards off bouncing off his limiter......
Great allround car I love it to pieces...
