  • Windscreen chip - worth fixing?

Got a very small (1 cm) chip on the windscreen.

Does this need to be fixed, will it spread? What is the safe thing to do?
How much do these mobile guys charge?
(No problem as Dealer has offer to foot the bill as it was sold with it)
    Does it remove the chip?

    Advice would be appreciated

If you are not paying anything? get it fixed! I would demand a new one too!

Windscreen people maybe able to inject it to stop it spreading, depends where it is on the screen and the size, that should be free on your insurance.

New screen is prob £50 XS on your insurance, approaching £1000 otherwise...if I was the garage wouldn't want to pay for option B ;-) (but they might pay the XS ?)

Would also insist on a BMW screen not a pattern one if I could.
