      love it!!! ha ha!!!
although i still dont think its perfect(!) its better than in the middle of the bootlid

      what a relief

now lets move onto the next question!!!
where is your number plate surround?

your car looks great, and the current wheels look really good too

are you gonna send the old badge to matt?

I used a tape measure, tried my best to get 23mm from side/bottom, must only be 1mm out if that! Stopping there now!!

Ok, number plate surround next job...think it's in the garage somewhere then prob get a standard plate, looks a bit chav at mo

Will keep the old badge in a safe place, just glad it was all clean and in order underneath where I removed it from

haha, the badge looks ok! dont worry about it im just messing
was a right mess before though

the plate looks ok too, but i think it would be better with the surround (and at least it would be straight then..... )

glad there were no marks under the badge too! id like to know how these people judge where the badge goes when resticking them on. what the fuck! it really does look like they just did "pin the tail on the donkey"

on a random note, i admire the people who wrap cars, and re-stick badges on correctly!!! seen a few nicely done ones, and if they have the attention to detail on putting the badge back on correctly, id hope they are competent enough to do a decent job of the actual wrapping work too!!!
ive seen some who dont stick the badges back on... and by that, i learn who not to use if i ever had to get one done (not that i ever will )

i used this little guide myself, to re-place the rear badge on my brothers S50 yesterday! not sure who put it there in the first place

                  before:

                  after:

note, because it had the later curved S54 badge, i decided to put it in the S54 positioning

after studying more pics, it appears that the badge sits right on the creaseline that runs horizontally along the width of the bootlid, so id assume thats how youd know if the badge is straight or not

hopefully ill get some proper pics up if i get to have the car in the daytime

forum was a bit dead, so thought we needed something for conversation (or controversy)
