  • Rough Idling

    Hello Chaps,

I have got an intermittent problem which I think is getting worse. The car has been idling roughly, sounds like its being starved of air. Anyway the diagnostics computer has been put on it but no faults showing.

Tech believes its a faulty idle control valve.

Anyone with a rough idling experience?
Is there a way of checking or cleaning the idle control valve?

    Cheers

Is the rough idle more obvious when the car is cold or warmed up?

i am having the same problem i changed the air flow meter £200 which helped but still have
the problem. hooked up a diaognostics and apparantly the injectors arent working properly
so next thing is to take them off and having them cleaned. i really want it sorted though
        asap.
