      Is this just a US thing then? or S54 too?

      I remember in my Roadster the roof button was back there between the seats and many people relocated to the front console as there's a blank and you didn't have to twist about to reach it.

      All I have between the seats are two blanks and a central red led. A future project was to add a USB charge point in one of the blanks, but debating whether to bother as I rarely drive it long periods. I was looking at one of these which looks almost the right size for our switches

      though the easiest way is a flush socket in the cigarette lighter I suppose!

        Behind the handbrake is the correct (OEM) position for the S54 rear screen demister.
        S54 Titan Silver metallic. Black leather, most factory options including sunroof, Becker Cascade and Becker Silverstone changer.

          It comes from the roadster set up I think, the US spec cars may not have the alarm LED but could be wrong. Looks like an easy mod and makes more sense than its current position.
