Default Autohaus Diagnostics

I had my MC in with Autohaus Diagnostics recently for a couple of jobs. Nothing major, just modified wiring to sort out the airbag system light and one of the front calipers needed new seals

Very impressed with the lads friendly, knowledgable approach, talking me through the work required. Really nice workshop setup and attitude. Not the cheapest prices I was quoted, or the nearest indy to me, but I'll be very happy to continue using them

Another great experience with these guys last week. I called in to book the MC in for a service and to replace the rear brake lines. While there I discussed the fact that there's been a slight hesitation on light, constant throttle intermittently. Despite being busy, within a couple of minutes they had it plugged in to diagnostics, identified an error recorded by one of the O2 sensors, diagnosed unmetered air entering the system and found the cause of the leak within seconds. Simple to resolve so just told me how to fix the leak myself.

No charge for the diagnostics or advice. I removed and refitted the deformed seal myself on Saturday morning and sure enough it's fixed the fueling and also appears to have been the cause of the cars slightly erratic idle speed that I suspected may be down to the idle control valve.

I've no hesitation in recommending these guys at all.

Great feedback matey...

Just out of interest, is there any reason you didn't use B&M Care? Very close to you I'm guessing, in Leeds?

Yeah, it would be much more convenient for me to use BM Servicing but I did a little digging around the web. I found plenty of decent reviews but a few that put me off considering them. A couple of those that had given bad feedback suggested Autohaus Diagnostics so I had a drive over to see the setup and talk to the 2 lads there and just came away feeling that I'd be happy to leave the car in their care. Very small outfit, with just the 2 of them, but really professional,

It's only been small jobs so far (brake caliper overhaul, diagnosing a wheel speed related click from rear - only charged me for about half the time they spent on that - sorting out loom for airbag light and this last wander over) but their attitude has been great.

So far, I've been really impressed. The only downside for me is the distance and no courtesy car, but the fact that I feel I can trust them with the car means more to me than the convenience of using somebody closer. I've no experience with B&M myself, so can't comment on their performance - they may well be as good as these guys?

Booked the old girl in for an Insp II next week with these guys, seemed to know MC's and associated issues well and advised they would be checking boot floor and VANOS (inc filter change) as standard, all checks documented on a report if required.

Not that close to me either but weekend/evening drop off & collections by arrangement a big help.

Will report back next week
