I viewed this car when i was looking for a coupe earlier this year but it was up for £12.5k at the time.

What was it like?

It wasnt a terrible example but could of used bit of tidying.
Surface rust on the insides of the arches and slam panel and wear and tear on the interior and boot area.
He wasnt a bad fella but made it clear he was going to take any less than £12k for it so i didnt waste his time by test driving it but £9000 seems like alot more of a fairer price. It doesnt really show in the pics but wheels are shadow chrome.

that was the first thing i noticed in the pics!
then yellow brake calipers
and tyres chalked out ?

the rust that you mention around the arches is very common on M Coupes, it isnt because they have been neglected, just a bad spot that is affected by use of the car (gets stonechipped very easily, and a lot of water + crap sits around there too)

usually happens at the bottom of the arches (all 4 of them!)

Yeah that was exactly where it was, like i said it wasnt a bad car but i thought it was going to be a better example for £12k but well worth a look for £9k.

Like Indy says, v common...going to get my sills removed and sorted before she gets put away again this Winter.
