  • Refurbishing key.

    After going through the exercise of purchasing some cheap EBay keys which I had hoped to strip and use to refurbish my OEM keys, I realised that it wouldn't work. The Chinese copies look the same but are completely different one piece construction and the rubber button assemblies aren't interchangeable.
    Managed to picked up a spare key from Spurs fan in a coupe (Andy), stripped it down and transferred the rubber button section plus the back cover strip on to my spare key. Big improvement, its now become my main key. Have to see if Andy can come up with another one so I can refurb the remaining key.

    Picked up another spare key from Spurs fan in a coupe (Andy). Means that I'll now have two keys in good condition.

    Still sorting out how to put photos in these threads!
