  • New Z3 M Owner....

    hi guys

I have finally taken the plunge and bought an Estoril Blue Z3M Coupe, 1998 S50...

Body work is not perfect, couple of sprayed panels, sills will need attention, but
the engine seems strong, quiet Vanos, have already covered 200 miles with no issues since buying on Monday, lots of history, only issue has been the typical e36 sticky windows..

My E46 330Ci is my daily mule, so clearing out the garage for the clownshoe!

This worked wonders with my sticking driver's door window.

Not sure why on this particular thread but I feel I need to point out we drive M Coupes, no Z3 in it (despite the forum name!)

Is that the correct description? Interesting...
I find if I tell someone I have an M Coupé, they think it's an M3 Coupé so I clarify with the 'Z3' bit.

You're right, probably why people do add the Z3 bit

I do it just to clarify what it's based on. I have an M Coupe t-shirt with the silhouette of our car, and people still thought it was the 1M Coupe

Actually I usually add 'the little Breadvan' if I'm talking to a 'car' person who still looks blank. Z3 tends to mean hairdresser to most folk (did I say that out loud?).
