  • Best product for making seats matt again

    Evenin' all.

As the title says, what is the best product to get our leather seats back to a matt finish again?

The seats are clean so don't need to do that, would just like to get the drivers seat matt again, like the passenger side.

    Cheers

I use Autoglym Leather Cream, it goes on wet obviously, leave it on for a while and wipe off excess - it does seem to go a bit matt when it's fully dried.

The leather goes shiny with wear so difficult to get back to looking like a new seat but Gliptone products work to mask some of the shine,

That's what I've been using and, like you say, does go matt but doesn't stay like it for long.

I'll have a butcher's. Cheap enough to give a whirl.

        Cheers

I was also recommended the Gliptone kit. Haven't got around to doing it yet but heard good things.

Yup gliptone and don't be shy with it. I thought my seats were reasonably clean but one whole blue roll later proved me wrong.

                    Another thumbs up for gliptone.

ALways delivers good results for me.

I actually used some more of the Auto Glym I already have at the weekend and, whilst it will help condition them, they aren't any more matt!

I'll order some of the wonder stuff soon
