  • Remove cable from throttle body retaining black plastic connector,

    make a note of how cable feeds around vacuum pipe etc

    • Cable is held in place by one white plastic holder and three black plastic holders on bulkhead,

      • Remove DME plastic cover to give better access and remove cable from bulkhead,

        • Old and new cables, I adjusted the new one to match existing length

              • Feed cable into position and adjust to give some slack, check full travel when pedal is depressed and job done .

                    Another case of realoem/ dealer parts system being incorrect

                      Realoem/epc are not accurate for some of the RHD part numbers so will start another thread with correct part numbers

                          • Thanks for the tutorial Dave I have a new throttle cable which I have had dare I say for years but never fitted so must get around to it soon. Have you noticed a difference in the throttle feel now you have done it?

                              Not yet as the car is still in bits with other parts being replaced and reconditioned
