    Evening all.

I appear to have just bought some suspension at last, which at some stage this year will get fitted to along with the H&R ARB's.

I will stress at this point that the car isn't going anywhere near a track and it's really just a matter of refreshing 100k+ stuff with better than OEM and giving me something that really drives a little bit more like it looks.

I was hoping that I could just fit the KW's but having read a few threads on here, it looks like drop links and spacers are needed. Is that true?
I really wasn't keen on moving any further away from stock than absolutely necessary.

    Cheers,

    D.

It's what makes me hesitant to go to front coilovers as the clearance from the strut to the hub becomes smaller, which might mean some wheels NEED spacers which could be a problem. If stock wheels require a spacer I'm not sure though!

Stock wheels need a 5mm spacer. I went with 10mm to get hub centric ones. The drop links are a different length to stock so you need to use the ones that come with the KWs.

Yep, definitely need at least a 5mm spacer with the standard wheels and like Si said, I went for 10mm as well to get hubcentric.

As for the drop links, I'm still running the standard ones (swapped to new Lemdorders from Euro Car Parts). Now I say that, or did they come with shortened fronts?!
