  • Pulling to left during heavy braking. Advice Please.

Slowing from 100 :P to 50 on M20 sharply car pulled to left :x . Checked tyre pressures: fine.

New discs and pads fitted 600 miles ago, car booked into dealer, what should they be looking for?

    Advice would be appreciated.

    Could be a weak/sticking caliper?

That makes sence, squeaking has been noticable for last 200 miles.

if its a sticky caliper you should every so often hear a clunk noise as the piston releases, or, it never releases and when you return after a journey smoke is streaming from the brakes

          No smoke or clunk.
          Smell of brake pads though.
Pull is only noticable under heavy braking.

It could just be that one of the calipers is working more effectively than the other so it might not have the extreme symptoms like binding etc

              Tyre pressures? (quick to check)
Road camber? (try it again somewhere else - safe..)

              Just thoughts :)

knackered piston in caliper, needs to be rebuilt, i think its just a seal, pretty sure its come up before
