      With that mileage he'll be hard pressed to get 12500.

          i remember when there was one with over 90k miles on autotrader for months priced around £11k (way before i owned an MC and when i was just looking!) seems a bargain now

          i think it became the topic of many discussions and i never understood why it didnt sell for so long, but it did in the end. i wonder if this is the same car?

            Maybe it's just me, but something seems amis with the servicing schedule. I only ever had an S50 and I believe the S54 has longer service schedules, however:

            Running in ---> Oil service
            10,704 miles over 8 months

            Oil service ---> Insp 1
            9,522 miles over 7.5 months

            Insp 1 ---> Oil service
            8,517 miles over 5 months

            Oil service ---> Insp 2
            14,676 miles over 8.5 months

            Insp 2 ---> Oil Service
            11,578 miles over 8 months

            Oil service ---> Insp 1
            13,517 miles over 11.5 months

            Insp 1 ---> Oil Service
            14,432 miles over 13 months

            Oil service ---> Insp 2
            10,662 miles over 26.5 months

            What is the general consensus?

            Oh, and 17.5k for a 100k+ miler is ludicrous!!!!

                Service intervals look ok - Is generally between 10-14k for an S54 depending on what sort of use its had.

                  Inspection 2 – 19/03/09 – 94858 Miles – Parva Cars – BMW Specialist

                  Prava cars is far from a BMW specialist

                              A worn driver's mat isn't a big issue as it can be replaced easily, and the rear blind often frays a bit - a quick cut back with some scissors will neaten that up!!
