Diff itself was surprisingly lighter than expected (thank god). It was only afterwards that someone suggested dropping the whole subframe.
    You need to drop it a bit to access the bolts but i'm not sure how much you mean by dropping it but I just undid the two subframe bolts and lowered it a few inches as I didn't want to disturb the brakelines, cables etc
