  • B8 Bilstein shocks

    Another question sorry.

I'm due to have these fitted, can I get away with standard springs or would I need uprated springs. I'm not going to track the car, normal road use.

    Any help would be useful.

Standard springs will be fine. Will be a good upgrade using those dampers!

The B8 dampers are a touch shorter than stock, but extended length/droop is still plenty, so shouldn't see any issues with stock springs.

I’ve had B8’s fitted about a month ago with the H&R springs. Big improvement over stock but so much stiffer.

Did any of you guys upgrade your subframe bushes or diff bush at the same time? Is it worth going after market or OEM.

Nope but did fit Rogue top mounts and H&R ARB’s.

                Thanks for that.

I've just ordered the rogue rear top mounts as well. So hopefully all in all will have.

                New Rogue rear mounts
                New Bilstein B8's all round
                New track rod ends
                New front ARB bushes
                New Rear trailing arm bushes

I think that will do for now to tighten everything up.

I did the opposite and left the trailing arm bushes. Theyre packed in tightly so unlikely to have worn too much.

I did the subframe and diff bushes, which tightened things up nicely

The local indie checked the sub frame and diff bushes and They were in good order, so we left them alone.

                      Should make a big difference

Also been informed will need hand brake cables, a rear spring and also rear drop links.

The list keeps building but will be worth in the end.
