  • Best brakes to fit inside standard wheels?

As per the title, want her back on standard boots but the brembo calipers wont have it. Might take them off for a smaller calliper. Can the CSL discs stay on for a smaller calliper?

AP do a kit that fits under 17" wheels for the E36 M3 & Z3M which has 4 pot calipers and 330mm discs.

        This one I think: http://www.apracing.com/product_deta...5200-1036.aspx

I bought one second hand and have done about 8000 miles with it fitted.....I can vouch that it's excellent. Once discs wear you can just buy replacement outers and there is a massive pad choice from several quality brands.

I think they used to do a bigger kit with 6 pots too but that won't fit with 17" wheels

Just looked up those Tarox 10 pots - £2,500

          Wallet friendly alternatives anyone??

I might have to content myself with stock callipers and upgraded pads

              No pms please.
That's exactly what I'm also looking for - the best brakes that fit the stock 17 inch roadstars.

What about a custom fitted forged 1-piece Porsche 6-pot caliper from a GT3? Combined with a 330x32mm disc I imagine this would result in a decent brake performance.

              Best regards,
              Phil
