When the car was in at the garage this week for service and MOT I had asked them about replacing the fuel lines as they keep coming up as an advisory on the MOT. The guy had a look and said that as there was a bit of corrosion underneath he recommended getting that seen to at the same time as the fuel lines would require dropping fuel tank, rear axle, prop shaft etc anyway. Also possibly an opportunity to do some re-enforcement around the sub-frame as well, not that the car needs it, no signs of any issues.
Has anyone done this type of work on their cars? If so what did you get done?
Unfortunately the garage that they recommended, Chizfab in Lochgelly (Scotland), is no longer trading.
Are there any Scottish owners who know of any places that do this kind of work?
Cheers
