  • And another one bites the dust - Mine

Last night going to the gym lost the rear end coming off the roundabout couldn't regain control and ended up rear end in the bushes smacking a tree.

Luckily i wasn't going fast and no other cars were involved, even the cars behind me were surprised the way the car left the road.
Possibly ice or something on the road????

Totally gutted, just waiting for the insurance company to give me the bad news, i've spent so much time on the car which is the thing thats pi$$ing me off.
I think it's beyond repair, rear wheels were totally twisted up rear quarter smashed and i think the chassis could be bent??

Anyway be careful out there guys

oh fuck, sorry to hear that mate.

I trust you are not injured?

Best be careful on the way home people.

So, was it just excessive speed coming off the roundabout? Excessive in terms of the conditions!

Bad news, it is bloody slippy out there at the mo.

I hope your insurance knew about some of those mods, otherwise I'd be spannering right now. Just a thought.

The roads are a fooking nightmare at the moment. All of us MC drivers have got to be seriously careful. It only takes one lapse of concentration and your going sideways as nearly found out this morning.

                              Cheers guys,

The suspension etc has all been decalred on the policy, so i'm not too worried from that perspective?

I'm seeing the assessor in the morning to go over the vehicle, they think it maybe repairable although i'm yet to be convinced untill i get under it myself as it didn't look good?

Any advice from those in the know on what to or not to say as this is my first experience of this kind would be much appreciated.

                              Thanks
