      My car

This is my car. So if anyone is interested or has any questions let me know.

Not sure what "lost in the wheel arch" means? Can you explain? I can post pics if that would help.

If anything I was over critical in the ad. It is very tight and drives and handles better than any that I test drove when I was looking. And it just had a service at BMERSERVICES in Tooting and they didn't suggest any additional work (other than the new front discs to sort the brake imbalance).

        thanks!

maybe im seeing things, but it looks like the rear wheel is pointing inwards at the back ?

could just be the angle of the pic

more overall pics would be cool, and i dont think you were over critical, as some of the paintwork is worth mentioning, since it will most likely be very noticeable for a buyer upon viewing.

heres one off pistonheads, which seems to look different
could be the angle of the pics, maybe even the wheel shade plays part and its just trick of the camera

Thanks, I will get it out of the garage at the weekend and take a few more pictures to post and you can see if it still looks funny to you. I can't see the difference to be honest (other than the angle of the photo and the different tyre)!

I would hope no potential buyers are going to be put off by your comment as there is nothing abnormal about this car!

As you say, it is probably just the angle and tyre style, don't worry!

                          Hi,

                          An update:

I've now had the rear bumper re-painted and the bonnet re-lacquered so the paintwork is now very good for the age of the car.

I also took it in to a specialist to have it checked over and specifically the rear suspension / diff / axle / wheels etc based on Indy's question. They checked ride height, alignment etc and confirmed everything was OK.

I've also had the hydraulic hose to the clutch slave replaced with a braided one. As there was a slight leak. The braided one is much better as the rubber ones flex a bit when the fluid gets hot and can make it hard to fully disengage clutch.

So, now no major cosmetic issues. No mechanical issues. The only negatives I can think of are the usual wear on the drivers seat bolster, missing 6 CD cassette and the aircon is pathetic.

Looking for offers over £10,000 if anyone is interested.

you could try this for the seat

                            http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-Leat...item3cbec05f0a

not used this dye but have used another make which worked well.
