  • Easy Question: Taillight out

O/S brake light stop working. Fuse or bulb  , part numbers please....

    Ease of fiting?

Any other reason for fault apart from fuse/bulb?

    Cheers

Just remove the corner trim with the mobility picture on it (turn the black screws 90degrees and they pull out. You can then see the back of the lamp unit, the bulbs just twist out in their holders.

I'd try the bulb first, minimal cost and the most likely cause of the outage.
Part numbers ... ? Ring a stealer they'll help, or Halfords often carry an extensive stock of bulbs.
The M Coupe ... For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

It's a standard bulb so can get them from any motor spares shop.

I would spend the extra few pennies, and get them from BMW… I have found in the past that sometimes those from non-BMW places don't last as long.

just make sure you buy a brand like Philips or Osram and you're safe, as BMW buys them there as well
