  • 2001 S54 Coupe - how much?

Going to put my 35k mile S54 (Silver on Black, almost every available extra) on the market next week (alongside an E30 M3 Evo and a few only things)

What's the guidance - what should I be asking?

I would say the S54 is going to £49995 if the condition is brilliant.

As for the M3 Evo, what price is in going to be. I may be interested!

      S54

Start the S54 at £59k & see how it goes. It will be the only one for sale currently & will attract a collector with such low mileage.

Yes on the Z3M I was thinking somewhere between £50-55k. Car is in outstanding condition, dealer history and has all the right extras (electric roof, AC, Harman Kardon, 25% diff lock)

E30 M3 is a 1998 Evo 2 - Macau Blue with cloth seats, deleted model lettering, light alloys 7 spoke styling, electric sunroof, AC, Kleines Motorsport Pket (which I recall is Evolution dead foot rest, M3 logo door sills, M-coloured pins on the seats, numbered plaque etc)

Not sure what we are looking for - last conversation was £105-110k

I paid £22K for my S54 MC with less mileage in 2005 as a BMW approved used car. Can't be many of the 18 in this spec left in this condition. If someone really wants it, it could be worth a fortune.

I've just bought another car from a well know modern classic dealer and out of curiosity I asked them what they thought my Z3M Coupe would go for. Its a 52 plate (the last RH drive one made), with 23k miles on the clock. They indicated it would likely fetch circa £60-65k, although they would most likely try and offer me 20p!!!!

There was a 11k mile example (S50 possibly) which sold last year at auction for a tad over £50k (I assume plus fees). If you factor in say a 10% rise in the market you could pitch at £55k for a private sale, although your mileage is higher, so £50k is more likely. If you sell to a dealer I think you'd be lucky to get £40k.

Either way good luck with the sale, and fingers crossed it goes to a forum member or a lurking fan!

Have you pictures please, low mileage isn't the only consideration.

                        Think I've got that sorted…

Apologies but I only have one photo on this machine - taken last year after a trip out with my 968 ClubSport (also going on the market next week). Will post more pics as soon as I can

                          IMO no more than £55k.
