not many with that sort of mileage left, or not many that are getting sold AT ALL!
some are being SO undersold, they get advertised and sell in less than 24hrs.
the owners have had them so long, that they dont know what people are willing to pay anymore, they are high in demand, low in supply.
low mileage 3.2 ones are worth big money, higher mileage than 19k miles, easily worth over £28k.
the only ones that hang around long, are automatic, sold by a dealer, and WELL over 100k miles (and £13k+ pricetag)
i would love to own an NSX!!! 3.0 or 3.2 i dont care, but it must be manual, and in fairly good nick

Is a CSL worth more than twice a standard E46. I've never driven either to compare?
Dave
Friend of mine has a facelift 2003 NSX and it's a stunning car, although not really any quicker than my CSL was.

There is a gold NSX in my works car park, really does look great and stands out from the dross. As with most Jap cars though the interior is awful!2002 '52 S54 - Titanium Silver with 18" BBS LMs, AP Racing BBK, KW V3, H&R anti roll bars & ACS flippers (previously 2000 'X' S50 - Arctic Silver)

Ive been in and driven both. E46 m3 are an awesome drivers car but when it compaired to the csl id say theres no comparison the csl is in a league of its own. The only thing i think could make it better than it is is if it came with the choice of manual gearbox aswell. A pal of mines got one in the grey/silver its awesome.Artic Silver S50-1998

I'd buy a 50k mile E46 CSL with BMW warranty for that cash.

Dave
ive never driven or been in a CSL properly!
(driven one a few metres in a carpark and sat in it for about 10 mins like a dreamer!... in the dark! ha ha)
the CSL is easily worth more than the regular M3 in terms of drive AND in terms of parts (stuff like carbon roof, bumper/s, diffuser, wheels, steering wheel, front seats, doorcards and other interior bits not to mention the carbon airbox and kit! they add up to well over £10k alone, easy) but the whole point in the car, is its behaviour, feel, sound, and difference in driveability. people say its a car that would eat the E92 on a track, so the value in it isnt just to/for E46 nerds, or the like, its a collectors car, but also a drivers car. i can see it being very appealing to many, if they understand its not just an E46 M3
Originally posted by Wallachie View PostAbsolutely, it's a fantastic drive and the noise is to die for. I had one for almost 3 years and loved every mile behind the wheel. My Z4M Coupe is the only car I've had since that came close to it in terms of fun.

i dont think the facelift NSX is just about speed.
for its age, its a fast car (its based on the original shape!)
the shape, the aero kit, alu chassis, the awesome bulletproof engine = the track abilities... perfectly balanced car.
its one of those cars, like describing the CSL just an awesome thing that needs to be driven to be fully understood.
hope i get the chance to give one a good beating

my unc who had the 996 turbo, he owned a (LHD, acura, manual) 3.0 NSX before it. rated it very highly
sacrifice good interior, for an awesome looking car, and apparently... THE REAL ultimate driving machine
for anyone interested, this is a good read

I have bought and sold numerous cars between NI and GB over the years, and not once have I encountered a single problem, perhaps these things are just a little more difficult for some people to understand and deal with though.
When you have some direct experience on the subject, come back and tell us about it.
The very fact that people seem to have had problems with this Ireland buying/selling issue was the whole point of my original post, which was further highlighted with the DVLA getting it badly wrong in this thread-and they deal with this all day, every day.
Maybe the next time someone posts with a question you could just tell us all that you've never had a problem yourself. Therefore there is no problem. End of.
Do you work at Rangers?

Door cards - £5k each
Steering wheel - £1k
Front bumper - £5k
Front splitters - £350 EACH
Seats - £3k EACH
I'm not sure how much the centre console is, or the roof skin, but I'm sure each will be well into 4 figures.
Totally bonkers.
